Res/Rei’s ode to dancers
Dancers use their bodies to communicate their inner world to others. Res/Rei took inspiration from the bodily movements and gestures of dancers and translated that into 5 beautiful designs. They recently presented this new collection, aptly called Dancers…
The Dancers collection consists of five optical frames made from colorful acetate, which is always the preferred material for this Italian brand. In fact, all acetate colors and patterns used by Res/Rei are designed and made in-house making them unique for this brand.
Models Aurora, Bolero, Clara, Giselle and Manon obviously refer with their names to famous ballet characters, but their design also gives a little nod to this form of movement. On all frames, the upper front parts have a three-dimensional band that changes in direction and thickness. Like a ribbon flowing in the air. This band ends on the temples, giving them a two-toned structure.
The Dancers frames come both in stronger colors combinations like teal with brown or red with a dark havana and in more subtle hues like transparent lavender with pink.
