New season styles at Victoria Beckham

New season styles at Victoria Beckham

Are you team Bold or team Understated? Either way, Victoria Beckham gives you what you are looking for with the new collection of optical glasses and sunglasses. In true VB style. So lots of big frames, gradient lenses, and subtle but luxurious details.

Victoria Beckham eyewear has never been afraid of going oversized, and this new season it’s no different. It doesn’t really matter what style – navigator, cat-eye, or flat top. The frames are rarely tiny.

In this new collection for Spring/Summer 22 we see some big and thick acetate optical frames in black, Havana or a clear caramel. For sunglasses, you can choose an updated take on the Victoria Beckham metal navigators, the statement Flat Top V in some new subtle colors or you can go for this season’s statement design: a bold pair of sunglasses in black, thick acetate. But remember: whatever you choose, you can be sure you will always look sophisticated and glamorous.

For more glasses and sunglasses of this brand, there is always our showroom!

Five year anniversary for Max voor Ogen

Five year anniversary for Max voor Ogen

Time for a celebration this week at Max Voor Ogen in Schagen. It’s been exactly five years since Marc and Nancy Brienesse took over the store from Max and Marijke. It marked the beginning of a beautiful adventure…

Marc and Nancy had a vision of what Max Voor Ogen should be and they used these past five years to make that vision a reality together with their team. The store is now unique in its kind in the Schagen area. Something Marc and Nancy are rightly proud of and that makes them enjoy going to work every day. You only have to look at their beautiful selection of brands to understand why. Amongst the selection we see for instance Cazal and Linda Farrow, but also Res/Rei, Lunor, and Etnia Barcelona.

Nancy is an optometrist with many years of experience. So you can be certain that at Max Voor Ogen you will not only find the frame that suits you best, but that your eyes will receive all the care they need and deserve.

Congratulations Marc and Nancy and on to the next five years!

Web Eyewear X Alfa Romeo Formula 1 Team

Web Eyewear X Alfa Romeo Formula 1 Team

An exciting collaboration was announced this week: Web Eyewear is becoming the official partner of the Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN. Web's logo will be on the team's cars, helmets, and suits, and later in the year a special collection will be released...

When two Italian brands like Alfa Romeo and Web Eyewear join forces, we can only be excited for what is to come. Italians are known for their elegance and impeccable style, so this partnership makes us eager to see what they come up with together. Unfortunately, we have to wait until later this year to get our hands on the collection of sunglasses and optical glasses. So, for now we will have to make do with some nice pictures of the team’s drivers Valtteri Bottas en Guanyu Zhou wearing their Web sunglasses. We’ll keep you posted!

Res/Rei’s ode to dancers

Res/Rei’s ode to dancers

Dancers use their bodies to communicate their inner world to others. Res/Rei took inspiration from the bodily movements and gestures of dancers and translated that into 5 beautiful designs. They recently presented this new collection, aptly called Dancers…

The Dancers collection consists of five optical frames made from colorful acetate, which is always the preferred material for this Italian brand. In fact, all acetate colors and patterns used by Res/Rei are designed and made in-house making them unique for this brand.

Models Aurora, Bolero, Clara, Giselle and Manon obviously refer with their names to famous ballet characters, but their design also gives a little nod to this form of movement. On all frames, the upper front parts have a three-dimensional band that changes in direction and thickness. Like a ribbon flowing in the air. This band ends on the temples, giving them a two-toned structure.

The Dancers frames come both in stronger colors combinations like teal with brown or red with a dark havana and in more subtle hues like transparent lavender with pink.

If you want to find out more about Res/Rei and their collection, we direct you to our Res/Rei showroom.

Cut and fold with Theo

Cut and fold with Theo

Remember being young and folding sheets of paper into airplanes, animals, and what not? Theo designer James van Vossel must remember, because his latest design uses the same technique: one sheet of metal, one cut, and one fold. That's all there is to it...

It’s called the Groove and it is the latest addition to the Theo family. What makes the Groove so special and interesting is the fact that this frame is made completely without screws, glue or any other materials. Just one piece of metal that is meticulously cut and then folded to create the temples. Super simple, yet so well executed and in typical Theo colors and shapes.

We think the Groove is a beautiful addition to the already big Theo family and it will definitely find its way to Theo fans out there. You can find the rest of the Theo family in our Theo showroom.
