This Japanese designer left his home country at the age of twenty to go live, work, and surf in California. During the first years of his stay, he worked for several eyewear companies before founding his own brand Frency & Mercury in 2005. Now, with his return to Japan, it is time for a new eyewear brand under his own name Eque.M. In his collections, the typical Japanese craftsmanship is merged with style influences from Los Angeles creating a unique design language. Eque.M is a very exclusive and luxurious line of frames of high-quality construction and with a lot of attention to detail.
