Eind vorig jaar lanceerde ze haar eerste boek maar haar fans kennen haar natuurlijk al veel langer van sociale media en haar werk voor ZIN magazine…vanaf nu zijn haar foto’s ook regelmatig bij ons te bewonderen..

Want Misja houdt net als wij ook van brillen en zonnebrillen en heeft een oog voor mannen en vrouwen die hun bril of zonnebril gebruiken als modeaccessoire of zelfs modestatement. Want dat is wat je met een goed gekozen bril kunt doen. Zelf draagt ze natuurlijk ook altijd mooie exemplaren en het leuke van die brillen is dat ze in zekere zin tijdloos zijn. Vintage of vintage-inspired brillen en zonnebrillen duiken altijd weer op en zorgen overal voor bewonderende blikken. Wil je meer over Misja en haar werk weten of laat je je graag inspireren door stijlvolle leeftijdsgenoten. Koop dan vooral haar boek Oog voor Stijl dat nu in de winkels ligt en volg haar op Instagram, Facebook of haar website www.misjab.nl en blijf ons volgen want vanaf nu publiceren wij regelmatig weer een nieuwe serie van haar en kan het ook zo maar gebeuren dat je haar in 1 van de winkels op deze website treft. Wees dan vooral niet verbaasd als ze je vraagt of ze een foto mag maken want van goedgeklede mannen en vrouwen met mooie brillen en zonnebrillen hebben Misja en wij natuurlijk nooit genoeg.

Porsche Design surprises with new top model

Making visually beautiful things is a challenge for every designer in every industry and certainly also in the optical field, but of course functional innovations are maybe even more interesting and important.

Functionality is not always beautiful and that is why functional adjustments are often hidden and made invisible. At Porsche Design, they think differently. The statement with their latest glasses design is therefore:

"In most designs, the function remains hidden.
But we don’t want to hide something UNIQUE."

Because the new hinges in the most exclusive Porsche Design frame to date are not only a functional improvement, but also very beautiful and should therefore be seen. Porsche Design ambassador Patrick Dempsey wears this new luxury frame with style and proves once again that a beautiful and well-chosen frame can really be an eye-catcher and the finishing touch to any outfit.

New showroom alert: Monoqool

Last week we introduced the showroom of Kilsgaard and this week we add another Danish brand to our ever-growing list of showrooms: Monoqool. Like its predecessor, this brand is also rooted in the Danish design tradition: simple ideas, perfect execution…

There are two words that best describe the design philosophy of Monoqool: innovation and sustainability. Innovation thanks to the techniques they use like 3D printing: frames are built up from layers as thin as 0.1 mm of solidified powder. Any excess powder is reused for up to 98%, making this way of manufacturing a sustainable choice. The printing is done in Denmark which drastically reduces CO2 emissions (no need to ship the collections from factories all over the world to Denmark).

All 3D printed frames are screwless and weigh a maximum of 6 grams which guarantee the highest user comfort. Add to that a Danish sense of minimalistic style and even a bit of humor, and there you have it: Monoqool.

It’s finally time for us to present to you the showroom of Danish brand Kilsgaard Eyewear. And like all other things Danish, Kilsgaard’s aesthetic is clean and minimal. As they say: Kilsgaard is eyewear brought back to the essence...

It can of course be fun to wear glasses and sunglasses that are totally on trend. But the thing with fashion trends is they tend to pass quickly to be replaced by other trends.
