Ooit waren clip-ons met zonneglazen op je gewone bril het toppunt van trendy, dat ebde een beetje weg toen zonnebrillen met glazen op sterkte in de mode kwamen maar nu maken de clip-ons een comeback…

Steeds meer toonaangevende merken hebben nu modellen met clip-ons in hun collectie. Het relaxte Garrett Leight bijvoorbeeld met de ontwerpstudio bijna op het strand in Venice Beach bij Los Angeles of de duurzame trendsetters van ECO Eyewear en sinds kort ook het Oostenrijkse Andy Wolf om er maar een paar te noemen. De clip-ons van dat laatste merk hebben ook nog eens zonneglazen van topfabrikant Zeiss.

Amazon calls it 'Alexa-powered smart glasses' and means a series of frames and sunglasses that allow you to easily control Alexa. These (sun)glasses already existed but have now been improved with new functions.

The designs are more stylish and by adding two designs from the popular eyewear brand Carrera, Amazon shows what is possible now and in the future. For this new series of rimless sunglasses from the SUN Collection 2023, the designers of Silhouette were inspired by the beautiful beaches and idyllic villages in and around Barcelona in Spain.
